“Love God with all of your heart, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.”
Whether we actually follow through or not, as Christians, we understand the first part of that command plain as day. But, encountering and loving our neighbors? It’s not as easy. “Who are my neighbors? Where are they? How can I love them?” are all questions we might have. But, what if we’ve overcomplicated it? What if it was way more simple? What if God meant our actual neighbors, you know… our neighbor neighbors, those right next door?
This is the thrust of our tour. We want to give YOU an opportunity to invite your neighbors into relationship, to offer hospitality to them, and to give room for love to grow.
We are starting to realize that the transformation of culture, doesn’t ultimately lie with government programs, the police, schools, or even getting more people to bible studies. We truly believe that the secret lies within Christ’s upside-down model of loving the least, caring for those on the margins and engaging those who are within our reach, on our block.
Are you in? We’d love to share our music and our message with you, your faith community and your neighbor neighbors.
That’s okay, we can do it on your roof. Seriously though, wherever is most convenient in your neighborhood, wherever you are going to get the most traffic, and whatever is the softest landing for those who might not be comfortable coming into a church..
Awesome! As you know, you don’t just serve the people who show up to church on Sundays, but also those who don’t, and even those who would never. Find some other Church members with a similar vision, find a backyard, park, or cul-de-sac you could use near your church. Invite the Church community AND the neighborhood.
The tour cost will cover the appearance of Ennie Hickman, Ike Ndolo, and maybe even a special guest. This also includes production, travel, and lodging. Adore Ministries will also provide you with a marketing packet that includes posters, invitations, and yard signs.
We are a community of Catholic lay missionaries who seek to love and walk with our neighbors, sharing the Gospel joyfully, living our faith, and growing in loving relationship with God and each other. See what this looks like at www.adoreministries.com. Ennie and Ike have been serving this ministry since 2006.
